Meet the Town & Country Team!
Dr. Matt Nichols
A Russell native, Dr. Nichols returned to his hometown in 2007 and joined Town and Country Animal Hospital. He is a 2006 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to his DVM, he holds a B.S. in Animal Science from KSU, and a M.S. in Animal Science as well as an M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University. As a sole practitioner, Dr. Nichols sees many species of animals and performs many different surgeries. Cases requiring specialized care are referred to appropriate boarded specialists as cases require. Dr. Nichols’ greatest joy is his family of 3 children – Gage, Brooks and Emerson as well as his beautiful wife of 30 years, Beverly. He also has two canine kids at present, Zeus and Echo, 3 and 1 year old German Shorthair Pointers with whom he is pursuing NAVHDA testing.
Beverly Nichols
Beverly serves as Office Manager and keeps things running smoothly at Town and Country. A Kansas State University Graduate, she was most previously employed as a Grant Coordinator at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Beverly specializes in making clients feel at ease and keeping things under control at the client interface of the clinic.
Joane fabian
Joane serves as groomer and technician at Town and Country. She has been grooming dogs for 25+ years at Town and Country, and is known far and wide as a “cat whisperer” (she is also great with dogs of course). Willing to try any type of cut requested by clients, Joane makes her fur clients look like a million bucks after their time in her “barber chair”.
